The Parisian revealed on his website that the current 58th worldwide, had taken advantage of the confinement to launch a distributor brand of hydroalcoholic gel, which is called Hygy with four different models, sold between 199 and 2,500 euros. “The company of my friend Maxime Rousseaux (Elecom, manufacturer of interactive tactile supports, largely used in events, based in Loir-et-Cher) was completely stopped. We thought it would be a great idea to create this new brand, with which I joined, to launch these terminals that we do not need to touch with our hands (automatic or pedal, note) and which also make it possible, via their screen, to become a communication tool ”, specifies Lucas Pouille daily.
Part of the sales donated to the Hôpital de France foundation
And obviously it works. Hygy would have already sold more than a thousand of these distributors in the space of ten days. The goal is to reach 12,000 by the end of May. Part of the profits from these sales will be donated to the Hôpital de France foundation. It is not the first time that Lucas Pouille has stepped outside of tennis and displayed initiatives. Clémence Bertrand, his partner, launched last season, the very first collection of his clothing brand Blønd som üs, inspired by his companion, who became her husband last September.
