At weekends, the news should have flown in in numerous Whats app groups belonging to the district class teams. "Have you ever heard? We can go back to the pitch! ”In fact, the blocking of the sports facilities has been lifted since Monday. We asked around.

District - Although team sports are still prohibited, small groups of a maximum of five people including a trainer may be re-trained under conditions from May 11th. But the basic permission has several catches. We asked various clubs whether and when they would like to start training again and how the decision was taken up in the ranks of the clubs.

Those who are on the lookout for activity on the sports fields after weeks of standing still on Monday evening will rarely find what they are looking for. The prerequisite for the resumption of restricted training operations is first of all the approval of the sports facilities by the respective municipalities. On Monday afternoon, none of the nine club representatives surveyed were able to report the “green light” of the communities. In addition, the guidelines of the BFV stipulate that the clubs name "Corona representatives" and that managers and players are familiarized with the measures. All of this is hardly feasible over a few days. Added to this is the organizational effort: space allocation must be adapted to small groups, new training concepts developed and the documentation of the participants set up.

"It has little to do with football," says Stefan Weishäupl from SpVgg Höhenkirchen, although he, like almost all of his coaching colleagues, fundamentally welcomes the opening. "Sure you are happy that you can meet again and interact with each other, but when it comes to implementation, I am rather critical", agrees Sebastian Heidrich from TSV Hohenbrunn. Heidrich and his colleagues agree that there can be no question of sporting added value: "This is more like exercise therapy with a social component."

There is also criticism of politics and associations. "The risk is passed on to the clubs. This is not feasible and totally unrealistic, ”criticizes Fortuna Unterhaching's co-chair Florian Darchinger. At least in the men's area, criticism prevails in the clubs.

The mood for the youth sector is somewhat more positive, after all, the concept of the BFV team up to the U12 allows the restricted training to be resumed. "It is of course good for the younger players that they have the opportunity to see and move again," believes Felix Coenen. The SV Pullach youth leader also expresses concerns about the implementation, but Coenen thinks: “It is difficult to condemn this beforehand. You have to try it. ”However, skepticism prevails among other colleagues, even among the young players. "In the youth sector it is even more difficult to adhere to the distance rules," says Weishäupl.

So what's next for mass sports? "I think we are feeling our way," says Sebastian Meyer from SV-DJK Taufkirchen. There is no hurry, even here there is agreement between the clubs - the resumption of play is still at least a few weeks away. "Before the end of June, little will happen for us in Taufkirchen," Meyer believes.
