The women's teams from the Freising district kept themselves fit during the Corona break with online training and challenges. A team is already starting training on the pitch today.

District - The restart of the 1st and 2nd soccer Bundesliga was successful. In the amateur clubs, on the other hand, the resumption of point game operations is still a long way off. It should start again at the earliest from September 1st. More than 68 percent of the Bavarian clubs that had participated in the vote of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) had voted for it. The women's teams from the district have therefore developed many creative ideas on how to keep fit until the desired day of the season continues - and today the ball is rolling again at a club.

TSV Eching

For the TSV Eching soccer players, the association's decision is considered a “charming solution - especially since it avoids any discussion,” says coach Jan Strehlow. However, there is also the question of how it could go back to a regular rhythm after the end of the current season. Important periods are also the changeover periods and the regulations for the youth sector, since some players from the youth would like to play with women from summer. However, BFV has not yet passed any decisions on this. "Still, a continuation is better than a season break," Strehlow emphasizes.

Despite all the uncertainty, the players of the district league leaders are going full throttle. In addition to online training with various units from fitness exercises to Thai boxing to technical training, the girls also took part in several activities. The focus was on the own challenge, which was about covering 1500 kilometers in one week - whether by cycling or running. Conclusion: With 2003 kilometers the women clearly exceeded this value. In addition to an after-corona party, they also earned a special dance performance from their trainer.

In principle, training would also be possible again under strict conditions. However, when the TSV women start is unclear. Strehlow: "The decision is made by the board of directors." And that, says chairman Rudolf Hauke, is currently in the club looking for a hygiene or corona officer. Finding someone who agrees to do so is the basic prerequisite for continuing to deal with the topic of "restricted training".

SG Eichenfeld-Eittingermoos

"Personally, I think the sequel is strange," emphasizes SGEE coach Michael Hillebrand, for whose Kreisliga team this season is unlikely to be about promotion or relegation. This not only messes up the whole rhythm, but the round looks like a worthless season for his team - one is rather looking forward to a new season. Nevertheless, you can hardly wait for the Eichenfeld and Eittingermoos community to fight for points again.

Up to now, the girls kept themselves individually fit through various running units and often arranged to meet at “online regulars' tables”. Like in Attenkirchen, they too were able to outbid the men significantly in their own “ball hold-up challenge”. Nevertheless, all offers and training units were voluntary. Overall, the SGEE wants to stick to the regular summer break so that later they can have regular preparation or, if possible, prepare for the remaining season with many test games. However, limited training under the current requirements is currently not an option for Hillebrand.

SpVgg Attenkirchen

In Attenkirchen they sided with the BFV and agreed to the proposal: "This decision is the fairest in terms of sport," says trainer Alexander Urban, who is generally very satisfied with the work of the association. Because his players were still highly motivated, there was also a challenge every week in addition to online fitness classes. In one of the first, they even participated financially in the #WeKickCorona campaign by Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka and were able to donate over 350 euros to a good cause through their own mileage. The girls also won a challenge against the SpVgg men.

According to Urban, there is nothing standing in the way of a start from September 1, since there are no change requests or large vacation plans - especially since the regular new season would have started around this period. Nevertheless, the coach naturally wants to be back on the pitch with his district league team. The first limited training is expected to increase this Tuesday.

FCA Unterbruck

In Unterbruck, too, they took part in the vote and voted to continue the season. "And this decision is absolutely correct, the current situation is nothing better," said coach Norbert Mößmer. Otherwise, only a continuation next year would have been an option for him, so that the current round would then extend over two years. In order to keep the district class team fit in times of Corona, individual training plans were developed, which in addition to running units also provide exercises for independent training with the ball. The girls also set up their own sports challenges.

Thanks to his welded squad, Mössmer is currently not anticipating any problems with possible changes, although the BFV would first have to find regulations. He also sees no major problem in restarting the game during the holiday season. However, the team will probably have to wait until it is allowed on the pitch: Given the numerous requirements, the football department is currently working on a detailed concept. As of today, the plan provides that the training of A-youth, women, men and AH will be possible from June 15th.

SV Vötting

The district classics SV Vötting are still waiting for statements by the BFV regarding the exact timetable for the restart. "Of course, all of this depends heavily on the government," says trainer Thomas Stable. The coach is critical of a start from September 1st - especially at this time usually a lot of girls go on their deserved vacation. His players currently keep fit individually or sometimes run the ball within the family. However, Stable does not believe in regular preparation for the remaining season - "mainly because we in Bavaria are generally more affected by Corona than other federal states". And the coach sees another problem for the SVV: “We have a young team. Many players start studying - so I don't know what the team will look like in the autumn. ”

Stable is still hesitant about his team's return to the pitch soon: "In this regard, I am waiting for our department head to approve," he says - knowing well that his players would "very much like to train again".

FC Neufahrn

Danilo Zimmermann, the coach of the FC Neufahrn circuit classics, does not want to comment on the BFV's decision to continue the season from September 1. The training operation with the football women of the FCN was still discontinued. "However, of course we in the club are concerned about how to proceed," emphasizes Zimmermann. "We will see whether we can make it possible to meet the requirements." If this succeeds and the effort pays off, there is a chance that the adult teams can "get back into training in a timely manner".
