The Kirchheimer SC uses the Corona crisis to get involved in a charitable cause. Among other things, the municipality of Kirchheim benefits, but also the Kirchheim-Heimstetten table.
Kirchheim - "Kirchheim keeps zam": True to this motto, the soccer players of Kirchheimer SC act in times of corona crisis. The first team had bought relief vouchers through the community and sent them to local businesses, the second team was now organizing an internal team donation run. "Because the league break has been so long, we recently took it a bit easier with home training, but are now stepping on the gas again and wanted to combine it with a good cause," says Kilian Kraus, second captain of the KSC second. So the players ran, cycled and skated as much as they could - there was one euro for every kilometer. 400 euros were raised, then the team fund was looted, and donations from the private sphere were added. In the end, the Tafel Kirchheim-Heimstetten was awarded 1,000 euros. The board distributes food to socially weak people in crisis situations and short-term fellow citizens who are in need at short notice. If you also want to donate: www.ki-hei-ta.de.
