Will the NBA complete the season at Disney World? A few weeks ago, this idea was considered as an option for the season, if and when the games resume. Now athletic reporter Ames Chernya reports that the park complex has become the preferred option for the world's best league leaders, in a major divide from other cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Since the league was shut down in mid-March due to the spread of the Corona virus, the possibility of creating an isolated "bubble" has occasionally been raised in a location that will minimize the risk of infection. Among the locations considered are Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and the Disney World complex.
The American media explained that the Disney complex in Florida is an ideal bubble site because it has large, large rooms that can be used by cast and crew as well as cast families.
The NBA has Orlando / Disney World as a clear front-runner for the return-to-play site for the resume 2019-20 season, sources tell me and @sam_amick. Orlando has gained significant seriousness among other sites such as Las Vegas.
