According to the three-step plan that German bowlers had developed themselves (we reported), step C is now used. This means that the 2019/2020 season will not continue. The standings after matchday 16 are counted as the final standings. The ascent and descent is carried out using the final tables. "In the current situation, the implementation of the plan is probably the most sensible solution," says Kriesmair. Because "a possible opening of the bowling alleys by the government is not yet in sight".

The catch is: At the level of the overarching German Bowling Association Classic (DKBC), an objection has been received, which was upheld by the DKBC legal committee. Level C is not officially in force and the season is not yet over.
However, the BSKV is confident that the season will end prematurely. Because the DKBC now wants to have Level C approved by a “country sports council”. One of the criticisms of the Legal Affairs Committee was that the three-stage plan was only adopted by the Presidium. In any case, the "Zugspitze" district is behind the decision of the BSKV to implement level C. "This gives us certainty about the end of the 2019/2020 season", sports manager Kriesmair writes on the homepage. The board of directors wanted to "start planning next season based on the decision".
Bowling: FC Seeshaupt is promoted directly to the 2nd Bundesliga
For the women of FC Seeshaupt, level C means that they are promoted directly to the 2nd Bundesliga as champions of Bayernliga Süd. The promoters would normally have been determined in a tournament. The FC celebrates the greatest success in its history. The team had contested the season as a climber after winning the Landesliga title last year.
According to the expected division of the BSKV on May 16, the men of the SG Peiting-Schongau remain in the Bayernliga Süd. The men of the SKC Gut Holz Eberfing move up to the regional league south after the title in the district league. In the Landesliga Süd for women there will be three teams from the district next season: Fortuna Penzberg, the SG Peiting-Schongau (remains in the class after the DJK Ingolstadt II has withdrawn) and the SKC Frischauf Weilheim (master of the district league) .
