Berlin (dpa) - Almost half of the Germans spoke out against playing matches in the Bundesliga in times of the Corona crisis. This emerges from a survey by the pollsters of YouGov Germany.
According to this, 47 percent of those questioned find the resumption of gaming operations wrong. Only 29 percent support the restart. 24 percent of those questioned were undecided or did not provide any information.
The Bundesliga was the first major international sports league to make a fresh start on May 16. Three ghost match days have been held since then. The hygiene concept of the German Football League (DFL) prescribes, among other things, the professionals to take different approaches to the field. In addition, there is no mandatory handshaking. There is also more space on the coaching benches, only every second or third seat is used.
