French club Paris Saint-Germain announced today the purchase of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, the second-team striker from Inter Milan.
The Parisian club said in a statement posted on Twitter that it had activated the option of buying Icardi once and for all after joining last summer for one season on loan from Inter Milan, noting that the 27-year-old Argentine striker signed a contract guaranteeing his continuation within the Parisian club until the June 30, 2024.
Paris Saint-Germain did not reveal the value of the deal, and Icardi moved to the French capital club in September 2019 on loan and scored 21 goals in 30 games in various competitions.
