"Ophir, in addition to being an excellent player, has become one of the best-dressed characters in the locker room, represents Betar in the community and is mainly connected in all parts of the club and is an example of how the club can go all the way up to graduates," the club's statement said.
"I stay here, in my house, home and garden, where I grew up to be a football player, and I experienced the infatuation with football," said Creef after signing, "I will do anything to give Betar everything, march with her and fight every ball. I want to thank the owners, Moshe Celebrates, Eli Ohana, Yossi, Ronnie and Haim who are far beyond a professional team for me and last but not least to fans. We miss them on the lots and hope that very soon we can get up to the lawn and see you in the stands. Now you have to concentrate on the top playoffs. A big thank you also to my family, who has long been painted in black yellow. I'm staying at home!"
Professional manager Yossi Benyun: "Over the past year Ophir has shown outstanding leadership, it's an actor who invests, works on the field and also a home player. We didn't decide whether to offer him a contract and I'm glad he stayed with us."
