Munich - Türkgücü Munich is gearing up for the future. The regional league leader has presented two new signings for the youth division. Alban Zinsou will be the youth coordinator and Helmut Lehnert will take care of the Munich youth scouting in the future . This is intended to lay the foundation for the improvement of youth work in the coming years.

Zinsou comes from TuS Geretsried

Zinsou has been the U19 trainer at TuS Geretsried since summer 2018 . His team is currently in first place in the Landesliga Süd. The 40-year-old was previously a youth coach at FC Stern München and TSV Forstenried . "Alban is an absolute specialist who has been doing very good work in the field of young talent for years and is very well networked," Zinsou said in a message from the association. He takes over the post of young coordinator.

Lehnert comes from SV Planegg-Krailing

Lehnert has also been active in youth football for many years. Most recently, the 50-year-old was the Großfeld coordinator at SV Planegg-Krailing . "Helmut also has a promising network from which we can benefit," says Türkgücü President Hasan Kivran . Lehnert will take over the Munich youth scouting

President Kivran wants to step up youth work

The youth work of the ambitious regional league has so far been a weak point. The U19 only plays in the district class. It seems impossible for a junior player to jump into the first team squad. President Kivran is aware of this problem and wants to improve youth work. “A good youth department cannot be built up in a year or two. We will need patience to train talent in the medium and long term, some of whom will also make it into the first team squad, ”he knows. Kivran sees the first step in the two new signings : "With Alban and Helmut, we have gained two experts in the youth scene who will do us very good when it comes to youth work."
