All of Instagram switches to black on Tuesday. Hamburger SV and FC St. Pauli are also participating. The reason: racism. Patrick "Coach" Esume speaks out.
Hamburg - On Tuesday, June 2nd, Twitter switched to black. You could see black pictures everywhere, including the hashtag #blackouttuesday. The action was designed to raise awareness of racism and police violence against black people. Hamburger SV *, FC St. Pauli * and Patrich "Coach" Esume * also took part. 24hamburg.de reports on the sign against racism in Hamburg.
This is not the first time that Esume has commented on racism. When there were allegations that he would not really support HSV, he spoke about his past. As an 11-year-old child, he was racially insulted in the Volkspark Stadium. * For this reason, he could not be a fan of the diamond for a long time. But now Hamburger SV is doing a lot against racism. The coach is satisfied with that.
