At TEV Miesbach, squad planning for the coming season is picking up speed. A decision is also in the search for a trainer.
Miesbach - After giving up the ice hockey league at TEV Miesbach last week and thus refraining from promotion, plans for the Bayern League season 2020/21 are still in full swing.
The composition of the Bayernliga has changed a lot due to the cancellation of the past season due to the corona virus. Since the Landesliga playoffs could no longer be played, four teams are promoted. So Miesbach fans can look forward to the clubs from Ulm, Kempten, Amberg and Buchloe. Since Landsberg and Passau have applied for the Oberliga, the Bayernliga will probably consist of 15 teams.
Amann in the national league
“We want to end the player talks soon. So far, only Thomas Amann has expressed change ideas, otherwise the squad will largely stay together, ”reports the second TEV chairman, Stefan Moser. As reported, several top performers such as Bobby Slavicek, Filip Kokoska, Anian Geratsdorfer or Timon Ewert had already confirmed for the next season in the past few weeks.
However, Thomas Amann will no longer appear in the Bayernliga. Instead, the striker joins the Miesbacher 1b team with TSV Schliersee, which made it into the national league in the spring. The goals of the TEV in the Bayern League are ambitious, you want to defend your title as a preliminary round and Bavarian champion.
Trainer search: Internal solution is indicated
Those responsible will shortly want to report on the execution of trainers. An internal solution is currently emerging after successful coach Peter Kathan had resigned at the end of last season. "We have had something in mind for a long time, now we have to clarify the last details," continues Moser.
TEV fans can already look forward to preparing for the new season in September and October. Among other things, there will be a comparison with the neighboring Oberligisten from Rosenheim, in which, for example, the valley player Andreas Mechel is under contract. THOMAS SPIESL
