Fürth (dpa) - The SpVgg Greuther Fürth has not found against SV Sandhausen from their crisis. The Francs lost 1: 2 (0: 2) to the guests from Baden-Württemberg.
Fürth have been without a win for a total of five games in the 2nd Bundesliga and are still waiting for their first three after the Corona break. With clever pressing and a stable defense, however, the sandhouses secured their third success in a row. In the table, the team of coach Uwe Koschinat overtook the Franks and is eighth ahead of the rival.
Kevin Behrens (15th minute / penalty) and Julius Biada (39th) put the guests in the lead before the break. After a header from Daniel Keita-Ruel (71.) the Fürth again raised hope.
The sand houses did not allow the Franks to go on the move for 70 minutes with a clever start. The Fürth presented themselves without ideas up to the final phase and in the end far too imprecise.
