Serie A club Brescia has ended its striker Mario Balotelli’s contract for not returning to the team’s training before the local championship matches resume later this month.
And Sky Sports reported that there were differences between Balotelli and Brescia president Massimo Chileno due to the striker's failure to return to the team's training when the protective restrictions due to the Corona virus were eased.
The network report indicated that the club offered Balotelli a separation by mutual consent, which the player rejected, then the club sent a letter to the player's lawyer to inform him that the contract between the two parties would be canceled.
Balotelli, 29, was linked with Brescia on a three-year contract last year, after the team rose to the first domestic league for the first time since 2011.
