Qasioun Sports Club has announced the opening of a specialized school to teach basketball principles under the supervision of a group of the best experienced coaches in the game.
Club President Brigadier Fayez Al-Basha clarified in a statement to SANA that registration will start from today, with training to begin on the thirteenth of this month for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years, indicating that the coaches who will supervise the school are experienced and are Bashar Fadel, Abeer Buckley Hassan and Rola Al-Jarf .
Al-Basha stressed that the age rules are the basis and the backbone of all clubs, as they are the main source of talents that supply the higher categories and reduce the burdens of bringing players from other clubs.
The club president added that the women's team started its training in preparation for the resumption of the league, and it is determined to win one of the first three places in the competition, indicating that the period of stopping sports activity due to the precautionary measures of the Corona virus was not in the interest of the team because it was walking in an escalating line in the tournament, noting in At the same time, the players were training individually in their homes to maintain an acceptable level of physical fitness.
