Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana agreed today to a short-term extension of his contract, which will allow him to stay with the Premier League leaders for the end of the season.
The 32-year-old's contract expired at the end of the 2019-2020 season, but the suspension of competitions due to the new Corona virus lasted the end of the season until next July, with the Premier League intending to resume the competitions on the 17th of June.
Liverpool lead the standings by 25 points against direct chase Manchester City.
