Defender Basti Hofmaier from SE Freising puts his top eleven together. He has already played for FC Unterföhring, VfB Hallbergmoos and SpVgg Unterhaching.

  • Sebastian Hofmaier returned to SE Freising before the season.
  • The defender even played in the U19 Bundesliga for SpVgg Unterhaching.
  • The 24-year-old presents the top eleven of his career so far.

Freising - Sebastian Hofmaier changed back to SE Freising at the beginning of the current season. Previously, the central defender played for FC Unterföhring and VfB Hallbergmoos, among others. At SpVgg Unterhaching, he even collected missions in the U19 Bundesliga. For FuPa / football suburb, he puts together his top eleven from companions.

Osman Qeku (VfB Hallbergmoos)

In the beginning, Qeku didn't make life in Hallbergmoos particularly easy. At that time, a 40-year-old met an 18-year-old young boy who was still eligible to play for the A-youth and who sometimes enjoyed training. Qeko didn't like it that much, so he always fought my ball (probably on purpose) with every goal-scoring practice so that I either had to get it 50 meters away or get it behind the fence. Over time, however, I was probably able to convince him a little with my performances and no longer had to get the ball from further away every time. He is and was an incredible keeper that I would have loved to see at his prime. I still remember a game at TSV 1865 Dachau when he opened his shoes towards the end of the game and asked the referee to briefly interrupt the game in order to save some time.

Defense

Florian Bittner (FC Unterföhring and SE Freising)

I'm now playing the third season with Bittner and have probably already had 20 head injuries with him. He is a player who can be used very variably and pulls the strings with us in midfield. In addition, his strengths lie in the third half next to the field. In Unterföhringer times, after long party nights in Munich, we asked Andi Faber for asylum one time or another.

Andreas Brandstetter (FC Unterföhring, today: FC Ismaning)

Brandy already impressed me during the first training session in Unterföhring with his incredible calm on the ball and in the game structure. It quickly became clear to me that I could still learn a lot from him. At first I played as a right-back or in the chain of five next to him. In the second half of the year he was only sporadically involved in training or at the games due to his professional obligations and I was allowed to take on his role. Last year we met again involuntarily at the orthopedic surgeon in the waiting room and talked about old times. Thanks also to Micho Kain for getting Brandy's cabin seat next to you.

Dennis Hammerl (VfB Hallbergmoos)

With "Malle-Hammerl" I played in Hallbergmoos either in central defense or in a chain of three. He is extremely strong in duels and headers, but probably the only player who is even slower to start than I am. He is an absolute leader on and off the field. He also likes to plan one or two trips for the whole team.

Andreas Kostorz (VfB Hallbergmoos and FC Unterföhring)

With "Kosty" I have played together for a long time in the men's area and I am still in close contact with him. When I exchange ideas with Andy about WhatsApp, I always know immediately that he is writing to me. Either there are eight individual messages or a two-minute voice message in which he demonstrates his singing skills. He is an extremely positive person and an incredible long-range shooter who has already scored numerous dream goals. You can also find dog daddy away from the square regularly in the sports home or at the Bumsdi party in Nandlstadt.

Maximilian Lüftl (FC Unterföhring)

Maxi is one of the most complete footballers I've ever played in a team with. He is an absolute model athlete who likes to provide his teammates with rice waffles before training. Maxi is not only known for his special food selection, but also for his funny sayings during the training in his Lower Bavarian dialect. He also leads the team next to the square as lead wolf on the dance floor of Munich nightlife.

Andreas Faber (FC Unterfoehring)

Andi Faber has the best left foot that has ever played with me on the team. I always hoped that I wouldn't have to defend him personally in the final game. On the one hand because of his football skills and on the other hand, he doesn't like it very much if you foul him or attack him unfairly. But that's forgotten at the latest in the cabin or in the sports home with one or two beers. Our team dad was always responsible for the third half after the games. Because of his countless contacts, he brought us in everywhere (no matter how we looked) and immediately took care of the first boat.

Florian Fink (VfB Hallbergmoos, today: FC Spfr. Schwaig)

In my early days at Hallbergmoos we were 36 or 37 games unbeaten across seasons. Our “vacuum cleaner” Flo Fink also played a significant role in this, which at the same time also led the team's internal list of yellow cards. He is certainly not an unfair, but very uncompromising footballer, who is also not too bad to push the ball straight to Munich Airport.

attack

Malcom Olwa-Luta (FC Unterföhring, today: VfB Hallbergmoos)

I got to know Malcom in Unterhaching, but we were only allowed to play together in Unterföhring. Malcom is both a curse and a blessing for every trainer. He drove our coach Peter Faber to white heat every week. He usually performed well in the game. In training, you never saw him, if he was there at all. I am also not entirely sure whether he still knows when the rest of the team actually met for training. My seat was right next to his, so I always had enough room to move. And when you saw him in the cabin, I could never be angry with him for long. He was always in a good mood and didn't take the whole thing so seriously.

Benjamin Held (VfB Hallbergmoos, today: FC Spfr. Schwaig)

Ben Held is an absolute weapon as a striker. When he hits the ball in the sixteenth, he is usually in the goal seconds later. You can usually only find him in the opposing half. Ben is also a good-humored player to look forward to in every training session. I was always excited to see which old clothes he would unpack again for training. We occasionally held a Bad Taste training session in Hallbergmoos, but Ben did it every week. He could just carry everything and his muscular calves looked great in green socks combined with an ancient blue and white training shirt.

Markus Forster (TSV 1868 Nandlstadt, today: SC Kirchdorf)

Markus Forster is the living legend at TSV Nandlstadt. He has scored a few hundred goals for TSV in the first in the course of his 20-year career and thus definitely qualified for my top eleven athletically. Over time, we have spent a lot of time visiting games, Christmas parties, darts tournaments, as a bar supplier at the Bumsdi party or planning over 120 uniform traditional outfits on the occasion of our 150th anniversary. So far, I have only been allowed to play with or against him at summer tournaments or in indoor training. But as I got to know him, he will still kick for a few years at 39 and we can still play a game together, but maybe only in the AH of TSV Nandlstadt.

Trainer

Anton Plattner (VfB Hallbergmoos, today: SV Dornach)

I was lucky enough to work with many good trainers at my previous stations. But Toni is technically and above all human absolute top. He can work incredibly well with young players, develop them further and always has an open ear for each of his players. At the same time, he continues to develop through numerous seminars and visits to Bayern training. When the collaboration between him and Hallbergmoos ended, I was in Bratislava for the semester abroad and could not really thank him and say goodbye. Thanks for everything, Toni.
