French international law tells the story of how he lived the last few months, his return to training, but also the fight

He could have played the Champions League title at the end of last month. But the epidemic has passed there. Like his team-mates, 24-year-old PSG right-back Nedim Remili has had to settle for a new national Starligue title at the moment due to the crisis. The French international, who has resumed training with the group for almost three weeks, recounts his last months.

How did you experience this particular period?

NEDIM REMILI. My first satisfaction is to get out of it without being touched, like all my family. So yes, it was frustrating not to see her, especially since I am very close to her. But it's like that. I am also happy to see that the effort made by all the French has paid off. People have been serious.

In what condition did you experience it?

I was at home, in my little house, with my girlfriend, my dog, and my cat. Quiet. The first month is not complicated, I did nothing. We were not sure how it was going to happen, what could fall on us ... I watched a lot of TV, and far too anxiety-provoking subjects. At one point, it even became clearly creepy.

And then ?

I got back to work, at my own pace, without trying too hard. We had instructions, but I did not exaggerate. I discussed it with the physical trainers (Arthur Yabo and Saïd Ouksir). I was sure to catch up with them.

How was the reunion with the club?

Warmly. We were all happy to meet again, quite simply. At the start of confinement, everyone was concerned about the health of others. Fortunately there was the phone and social media!

What about training?

I expected it to be special, different. I am not disappointed. I would like to congratulate the staff for all the attentions that are taken. The staff preparation work is very impressive.

Did you feel frustrated that you couldn't finish the season normally?

Of course. We are top athletes, we play to win. But this remains secondary in the face of the events that we have experienced and that we are still experiencing.

What's your take on the Black Lives Matter movement?

This inevitably touched me, because of my Algerian origins and the fact of having grown up in a working-class neighborhood where there were lots of minorities. I suffered racism, even if it was never head on.

Could you put a knee on the ground, like many other athletes?

If necessary, I will kneel down to advance the fight against racism, squarely.
