The new coach of Al-Majd team, Ahmad Azzam, confirmed that the goal of signing this great club in Syrian football is to rise to the Premier League football.

Azzam indicated during the press conference that was held today at the club’s headquarters in Damascus, in the presence of delegates of the local media, that he would work with his new staff with his utmost effort to achieve what the team and its fans aspire to qualify for the Premier League and reach the advanced roles of the Republic Cup competition despite the difficulty of meeting in the next round in front of Al Wathba .

For his part, the club president, Eng. Fayez Kharrat, stated that contracting with Azzam is a new addition to the club, and it is a good choice because he is able with his new staff to employ and invest the capabilities of our players in the optimal way, indicating that the club management created all appropriate material and moral conditions to facilitate his mission and overcome all previous difficulties.

Azzam previously worked as an assistant coach for the Syrian Olympic team, coached the Fatwa team, and moved him to the Premier League last season.

It is noteworthy that the new technical staff, in addition to coach Azzam, is composed of Mutia Dogoz and Abdel-Hadi Al-Hariri, as assistant coaches, and Murhaf Dahbour, a fitness trainer, and Bashar Beyazid as a trainer for goalkeeper and Ali Salloum statistically.
