Sean Weissman continues to break records. The Austrian Wolfsberger international striker managed to break Eran Zehabi's record this evening as he scored his 30th league goal this season in his team's 1: 3 defeat to Rapid Vienna, as part of the lockout cycle.

In his debut year at Wolfsberger, the Israeli striker scored 30 goals in a single season and smashed the record of Zahavi, who scored 29 league goals last season in China. On the way Wolfsberger also secured her place in the European League home stage and who if not Weissman was signed on the last goal in the 73rd minute when he received a ball inside the extension and from a hard angle bounced an impressive chip into the net.

Earlier, Mark Andre Schrambock (30) and Christopher Warnitzanic gave the dual advantage to Weisman's team.

Weissman, who also won the senior league title in Austria, scored 37 goals in 40 games all season. For the third year in a row, the scorer was manned by an Israeli footballer after Monsour DeBour won the title last season and the 2017/18 season.

The excited Weissman said after the game: "From my first day at Wolfsberger, I had two goals: the first was to bring pride to all the fans here and in Israel, and the second to be a major screw in the Austrian league. Tonight I captured the 30th goal in the league and the 37th overall this season. Less than amazing.

"My wife who is here with me has a great deal of success, but not only her. A big thank you to Wolfsberger and Israel fans. I feel very much appreciated and appreciated by you. It is a great honor to represent my country week after week. It is a historic season for me and a tremendous feeling."
