Australia mourns snowboard champion Alex Pullin, dead at 32

The double Australian world champion was found dead drowned this Wednesday, July 8.The sports world is in mourning. The sports world is in mourning. Alex Pullin, a 32-year-old Australian snowboarder, lost his life while presumably spear fishing off the Australian coast near Sydney. According to Chris Tritton, Gold Coast police officer, Alex Pullin did not have an oxygen mask and went snorkeling and spearfishing on the reef. Her body was found lifeless in the Gold Coast coastal region of Queensland.

Qualified by the head of the Australian Olympic Winter Sports as "the great pioneer of men's snowboarding in Australia", the champion had shone at the World Snowboardcross Championships in 2011 and 2013, which he had won. Alex Pullin was also the standard bearer for the Australian delegation during the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014.
