This Friday, the five main groups of supporters of AS Saint-Etienne (Associates Supporters, Green Angels, Independent Stéphanois 1998, Magic Fans and Union des Supporters Stéphanois) decided to boycott the final of the Coupe de France, against PSG Friday July 24 at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
The decision to limit the presence of 5000 spectators for the finals of the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue therefore resulted in a radical decision on the part of the Stéphanois supporters.
A reluctant decision
The FFF allocating only 900 places to each of the two clubs, the fans of Saint-Etienne have, in agreement with their management, made this choice. “With 900 places for the Stéphanois supporters and impossible sanitary conditions, we reluctantly decided that none of the five groups of AS Saint-Etienne will support the Greens in Saint-Denis. In agreement with our club, the turn that is allocated to us will remain empty, "said, in particular, the groups of supporters in a statement.
