Heroic victory for Hapoel Tel Aviv, which prevailed on Saturday night (73:77) on the city of Nahariya, came very close to securing its place in the playoffs and left itself a chance to finish sixth in the bottom of the bottom.

The Reds got along without star Jordan Davies, who went missing due to shoulder pain and returned from a double-digit lag on the way and received tremendous ability from the Israelis Tomer Ginat (27 points) and Sea Medar (21) which led her to the important victory. 

Hapoel Tel Aviv has not yet secured its place in the playoffs, but it now depends on itself. A win on Maccabi Ashdod on Monday will set her place in the first eighth and if Maccabi Haifa and Ness Ziona cities lose in the parallel games it will even finish sixth.

On the other side, a big disappointment in Nahariya. Danny Franco’s team finishes early this season despite being able to maintain the roster even after the Corona retire and strengthened with Ivan Almeida and yet not be in the playoffs. Even 14 points from Misgav Misiv, while an excellent game, were not enough.
