OM takeover: Depardieu would have warned Boli about Ajroudi

LE SCAN SPORT - According to L'Equipe, the French actor has described the Tunisian businessman as an "unreliable" individual and "not keeping his promises" to the former OM defender.

Ambassador of Olympique de Marseille, former defender Basile Boli was one of the first Marseille leaders to speak out on rumors of the takeover of his former club. At the end of June, the ex-international had tasted very little of the ultra-mediatised approach technique of Mourad Boudjellal, leader of the project of businessman Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi. "Mr. Boudjellal. I have just read and listened to your statements concerning OM. I just wanted to tell you to respect this club and this city. From Benbarek, Zatelli, Skoblar, Papin, Di Meco, Deschamps, Mandanda and Pape, we have a story. You can plug the port of Marseille with the money of others but at least, sportingly, respect these people who have lived and who live to the sound and air of this club, "wrote the man who offered the C1 at OM in 1993 against AC Milan, considering that Boudjellal had disrespected the Marseille club.

Mr Boudjelal
I have just read and listened to your statements concerning the @ OM_Officiel.
I just wanted to tell you to respect this club and this city.
From Benbarek, Zatelli, Skoblar, @JP_Papin, Di Meco, Deschamps, @SteveMandanda and Pape, we have a story.

According to Depardieu, Ajroudi is a man unable to keep his promises

According to L'Equipe , Boli was recently reinforced in its position via a phone call from Gérard Depardieu, an acquaintance of Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi. According to the daily, the actor would have called the former defender to paint him an unflattering portrait of the Franco-Tunisian. "Describing him as an unreliable character, incapable of keeping his promises and therefore of carrying out his plan to buy the club." Joined by the daily, Depardieu, "annoyed", would have refused to return to the subject.

On social networks, Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi has not hesitated to appear with Gérard Depardieu in recent months. "Welcome home to Hammamet, to Gérard Depardieu, a real man", we can read on the Instagram account in caption of a photo of two smiling men taken in Hammamet last summer.

"I saw your horses, I saw this house, I saw your family, I saw the man you are, namely someone we would like to follow everywhere"

According to Marianne , the duo planned to work together in a film via the production company of the businessman. In a long video posted in 2019, Depardieu was full of praise for the very relaxed engineer then in front of him. For a dozen minutes, the 71-year-old artist continued to congratulate his interlocutor by praising his qualities as a man. "I saw your horses, I saw this house, I saw your family, I saw the man you are, namely someone we would like to follow everywhere. (…) You always have deep and positive thoughts. I have rarely seen men like this. You and your wife, what you have done with your children and their education, is enormous, ”said the actor passing through Tunisia at Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi's. "You are an extraordinary host with a culture that few people have," added the Casteroussin, who has obviously changed his tune. "I am not angry with anyone. Gérard is a friend and I don't know why he didn't want to express himself. He is free not to do so, ”reacted Ajroudi.
