PSG-Beveren: when passion does not rhyme with distancing

2020-07-18T04:09:51.042Z

Small quack in the stands of the Parc des Princes where social distancing was hardly respected this Friday.

At the Parc des Princes

PSG finds its garden this Friday. For the first time since its victory against Dortmund (2-0), last March 11, the club of the capital evolves on the lawn of the Parc des Princes, in friendly, against the Belgians of Waasland-Beveren. And this in front of 5000 spectators, including a few hundred Ultras gathered in their usual cocoon of Auteuil. Which Ultras, as always, gave voice and pushed their protégés against the red lantern of last season in Belgium. Except that unlike those that can be seen scattered in the Paris grandstand, these supporters have gathered on each other. In disregard of the safety distances that should be in the midst of a health crisis.

Recall that this is the second friendly match of PSG, after the demonstration in Le Havre last weekend (9-0 victory), and especially the first match with the public at the Park since the appearance of the coronavirus. This time, passion took precedence over distancing. As against Dortmund, when hundreds of Red and Blue supporters had celebrated the victory around the stadium, behind closed doors ... We imagine that Paris Saint-Germain and its supporters will be summoned to rectify the shooting next Tuesday, still at the Park, against Celtic Glasgow. And then at the Stade de France for the two finals, that of the Coupe de France against ASSE (July 24) and that of the Coupe de la Ligue, against OL (July 31).
