Maccabi Tel Aviv will hold its debut training session for the 2020/21 season tomorrow in Kiryat Shalom, when there is still no replacement for Vladimir Ivitch, who has led the club to two championships in the last two years.
Patrick Van Leven, the professional director of the youth department, is expected to transfer the training until the appointment of the head coach, one of the candidates for the position is Yorgos Donis, the coach of Panathinaikos, who is expected to leave the Greek club soon.
Donis was interviewed by the Greek media this evening (Monday) and confirmed that there was indeed interest from the club from Kiryat Shalom: "There was interest from Maccabi Tel Aviv. I also had offers from English Huddersfield and Saudi Arabia's Malal Hill. "I believe that next week I will be a little smarter."
