Following the events that took place last night (Thursday) during which dozens of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans entered the Yad Eliyahu Hall, today Maccabi Rishon Lezion fans and Hapoel Gilboa / Galil fans issued a message asking them to allow a limited number of fans to enter the Final Four semi-finals.
The Maccabi Rishon LeZion fans' organization stated: "We, Maccabi Rishon Lezion fans, demand that the league administration allow about 50 fans to enter the semi-finals of the Final Four, just as yesterday Maccabi Tel Aviv fans entered the hall as part of the quarterfinals.
"Throughout the last period, we were careful and guarded our souls, despite the great difficulty. Even when we felt that we must reach the Beit Maccabi hall, we wore masks and kept our distance outside the hall. The guiding rule was - health above all!
"Unfortunately and to our surprise, we discovered yesterday in the quarterfinal game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv that the home team allowed about 50 fans on its behalf to enter. The Gush D organization stands for the principle of equality, Of all of us, we will of course maintain the rules of social distance and wearing a mask throughout the game. "
The 'Gilboa Supporters' organization of Hapoel Gilboa / Galil fans also issued a similar announcement.
