Fans of the Dunkirk football club are in mourning. Alex Dupont, emblematic trainer of the northern training (between 1984 and 1985 then from 1990 to 1996), died in the night from Friday to Saturday of a cardiac arrest, at his home in La Turbie (Alpes-Maritimes), reports La Voices of the North.
During his long coaching career, the man known for his outspokenness also took charge of the Gueugnon team, which he led to victory in the Coupe de la Ligue against PSG in 2000, then Sedan, Amiens and Brest, in particular.
