The Italian midfielder evokes in La Gazzetta dello Sport the future meeting of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League against Atalanta Bergamo.


In an interview with  La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marco Verratti confides on the goals of PSG in the Champions League and the way he and his teammates approach this great meeting. Chosen songs: “The pact is to have no regrets and to give everything to play each game to the fullest and go as far as possible. We know that we are a very strong team, and that if we play together, with determination and professionalism, we will have our say. Afterwards, the Champions League is a difficult tournament for everyone (…) We are not yet at 100%, which is normal after such a long period of inactivity. For the Italian midfielder, there is a PSG with and without Mbappé, still uncertain for the quarter-final against Atalanta (August 12) due to an ankle injury. “When he's not there, like Neymar, you can feel the difference. But with this kind of injury, it changes every day. Sometimes you think everything is over, and the pain comes back (…) He has to work hard to come back, but you must not put pressure on him. He is only 21 years old, he must not put his career at risk for a match, ”said Verratti.
