Ihab al-'Abid signed tonight (Thursday) at Maccabi Haifa, the 20-year-old winger, grew up in the youth department of Betar Tel Aviv-Bat Yam and last season played in the senior team and scored 12 goals in all competitions.
Al 'Abid came to Maccabi Haifa, after an agreement between the teams on his purchase for NIS 1.2 million for 70% of his ticket and signed for three years, with two more years as an option, through his agent, Dudu Dahan. Al 'Abid is recovering from a crisis in his hand and should return to training with contact within about two months. The player said after the signing: "Happy to sign with Maccabi Haifa. Thank you for the trust, this is a great challenge and I will do everything to succeed."
