Barcelona is currently hosting Napoli in the eighth round of the Champions League final. The first match was played in Italy in February and ended 1-1 and the Catalans who lost the Spanish championship to Real Madrid and were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey by Sociedad, want to try to save the difficult season they are going through with qualifying for next week's flash tournament in Portugal.

Barça is going through, apart from their professional ability, one of the turbulent seasons they have had in recent years. The dismissal of Ernesto Valverda and his replacement at Kika Stein, the bot affair that caused a strained relationship between management and team players and reports that Lionel Messi did not want to extend his contract at Camp Nou caused a continuing unrest.

Professionally, Kika Stein chose to come up with Antoine Griezmann alongside Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. Frankie de Jong who was injured at the end of the season in La Liga opened with a link alongside Roberto and Rakitić. On the guest's side, Lorenzo Insigne who was also in doubt due to injury, was developed by Gennaro Gattuso's side.

Compositions:

Barcelona: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Nelson Samado, Gerard Pique, Clement Langela, Jordi Alba, Ivan Rakitić, Frankie de Jong, Sergei Roberto, Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez.

Napoli: David Ospina, Giovanni di Lorenzo, Costas Manolas, Calido Coulibrali, Marco Roy, Jose Maria Cayejon, Fabian Ruiz, Diego Blood, Piotr Zilinski, Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Martens.
