Willian today (Sunday) officially announced that he is leaving Chelsea when according to the media in the UK he is expected to move in the next few days to Arsenal, the city rival. The 32-year-old Brazilian midfielder ends his contract at Stamford Bridge after 7 years, in which he won 2 English championships, the English Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League.
In a Twitter post, the contact addressed Chelsea fans and wrote, among other things: "It's time to move on, I will definitely miss my teammates, I will miss the whole team at the club who always treated me like a son and I will miss the fans, I leave my head raised, sure, knowing I won things here and always did. "I did my best to wear the club's shirt, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you and God bless you."
In the summer of 2013 after rejecting an offer from Tottenham, Willian joined Chelsea and scored 63 goals in 339 appearances. "I also received reviews that are normal but what is important is that the reviews also motivated me to always give everything in training, in games, I wanted to get better all the time until the last minute," he added.
