The winning goal was scored from the penalty spot by Bruno Fernandes (95th). MU stumbled against the Danish defense for a long time, goalkeeper Johnsson increasing the number of saves (12 in all!). For a place in the final, the Mancuniens will be opposed to the winner of the Wolverhampton-Seville match which takes place on Tuesday in Duisburg. The Reds Devils won the C3 in 2017 under José Mourinho.
