Barcelona confirmed today that the injury suffered by its striker and star Argentine Lionel Messi in the Champions League match against Napoli is not serious.
Messi suffered a strong blow in the lower left leg in the first half of the match, which ended with the Catalan giants winning by three goals against the goal yesterday.
The flea was beaten by Kaleido Coulibaly after sliding into the penalty area to collect a penalty in favor of Barca.
Barcelona coach Quique Setien said after the match that he did not believe the injury would cause Messi a problem.
Barcelona are seeking to win the Champions League for the first time since 2015 and will face Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the competition next Friday.
