Regarding the team, the staff and the members of the security, 45 people maximum can obtain an entry ticket for the lawn edge and the sidelines. “These 45 people must include absolutely all the members […] which include the players, the coaches, the technical and medical personnel and the persons in charge of the logistics (equipment and security), as well as the key operational personnel (like the attachés of press), ”says UEFA.
55 people at the stadium, no more no less
The accreditations for these 45 people are subject to a negative result in the coronavirus test. This was the case on Monday for the penultimate test before the first match. In addition to this total, ten other places are granted to each club for the management or any other member of the official delegation. They will be Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president, Leonardo, sports director, his deputy Angelo Castelazzi or even Jean-Claude Blanc, general manager. 55 people, neither more nor less.
Of the 78 PSG employees in Portugal, 23 will therefore remain outside the Luz stadium. In the event of accession to the final of the Champions League, UEFA increases the quota from 10 to 25 people in the official stands. In all cases, access to the stadium remains subject to the presentation, upstream, of a negative test for the Covid-19 virus.
On Saturday, nearly sixty members of the official delegation arrived in Faro, Algarve, for the short three-day preparation in southern Portugal. This Monday, the club leaders will get ahead of them in Lisbon to take up their quarters at Myriad by Sana Hotels, a luxurious establishment at the foot of the Tagus, the river in the Portuguese capital. They will be joined this Tuesday morning by the Parisians present in Faro, as well as by Marco Verratti, the only absent from the trip, who continued examinations and treatment in France all weekend.
