FC Falke Markt Schwaben can finally play again on its perfectly prepared stadium square. The team struggled against TSV Ottobrunn.
Markt Schwaben - It's been a long time since the stadium square in Markt Schwaben was last spruced up. The FC Falke footballers had already got used to the “standby view” of the main square during their (private) fitness sessions on the tartan track in the sports park: slightly longer stalks, no goals, no corner flags and no white markings. The stadium was finally lined up again for the Falken's second test match. So the referee recognized that the foul by a Falke defender had taken place in the area of the field that was worth punishing (0: 1, 8th).
Kirmaier: It's finally that time again
Falke President Wolfgang Kirmaier watched the game from the stands. Almost alone, he sat level with the center line. "It's been a long time, but finally it's that time again," he commented at the beginning of the game. In the course of the first half, however, he had to realize that the Munich guests from the regional division TSV Ottobrunn were fitter and more alert. The home side also conceded the 0: 2 (13th) early, "because we can't get into the duels and leave the guests too much space," said Kirmaier.
The chairman realized after about an hour that the heat was taking its toll on both sides. The two additional drinking breaks that were arranged could not compensate for this either. "The air is out, we meet at eye level now," said Kirmaier and took a sip from the water bottle. For him, the first half was enough to determine "which screws we still have to turn." By the next test match next Sunday at FC Fraunberg, the Falken should run smoothly . "( Jpi )
