Italian club Juventus announced that Cristiano Ronaldo had won the Player of the Season award.
Juventus published on its official Twitter page that Ronaldo won the Player of the Year award after winning the largest percentage of the crowd's vote for his great contribution to winning the Italian "Calcio" title for the ninth consecutive time.
Ronaldo ended the league season with Juventus, scoring 31 goals in the top scorer list, behind leader Lazio striker Ciro Immobili with 36 goals.
