Berlin (AP) - The show comeback of boxing superstar Mike Tyson has apparently been postponed. As "The Ring" reports, citing its own sources, the fight of the former world heavyweight champion against Roy Jones Jr. will take place on November 28th instead of September 12th.

The postponement allegedly has financial reasons, as the Tyson side hopes to generate more revenue from the longer lead time. The fight of the 54-year-old Tyson over eight rounds against the three years younger ex-champion Jones Jr. is to take place in Dignity Health Park in Carson, California without spectators. The show will be broadcast on pay TV and a ten-part documentary series is currently being produced.

Tyson and Jones Jr. Boxing in heavier padded gloves, which at 340 grams are about 60 grams heavier than usual. In addition, there were recently disagreements as to whether the fighters should wear head protection. According to "The Ring", there was also disagreement about doping tests in preparation for the fight.

"Iron Mike" Tyson's last professional fight was 15 years ago, in June 2005 he lost to Irish Kevin McBride by a technical knockout after six rounds.
