Maccabi Tel Aviv hopes that everything will be in place in the best way for Donis to start working tonight, but as of last night at midnight there are still some matters of principle left in the negotiations, so the Yellows did not give an official announcement on the matter. Donis landed on the night between Sunday and Monday and was driven to a rented apartment in Tel Aviv, where he stayed all day with some of his assistants when everything else was in another apartment.
If Donis signs and is represented today, he will, as mentioned, transfer his first training session tonight, when it is already clear that on Thursday he will not be able to stand on the line in the Champions League rematch against Hapoel Beer Sheva. On the other hand, Maccabi Tel Aviv will be able to place Donis on the grass in the Champions League qualifier against F.C. Riga. The one who is supposed to continue on the line in the Champions League game is the Dutchman Patrick van Leven.
