NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo gave his opponent Moritz Wagner a headbut and was sent off the field for it. The trigger for the action in the basically meaningless game of the title favorite Milwaukee Bucks against Wagner's Washington Wizards, who had no playoff chances, were apparently two tackles.
First Wagner pushed his opponent under the basket of the Bucks with his body out of the way for a possible offensive rebound, in direct return the Greek apparently deliberately ran into the block set by Wagner and was called for a foul. In this scene the heads were already close together. In the next interruption, Antetokounmpo went visibly upset to Wagner and gave him the headbutt. At this point the Bucks were already clearly leading, in the end there was a 126: 113 for the best team in the Eastern Conference.
Antetokounmpo, who could be recognized as the most valuable player in the main round for the second time in a row, conceded a so-called Flagrant 2 foul and was not allowed to continue playing. According to ESPN, it was the fourth time in his NBA career that the 25-year-old was taken off the field. He is facing a ban from the NBA.
