According to Mohammed Hamdi, managing director of ADO Den Haag, the association followed the family's wish to wait with the news of death. ADO describes Wang, who moved with his parents from China to the Netherlands five and a half years ago and has been wearing the club's shirt since 2017, as "very social and polite to the people around him".
