As expected, the video conference of the German Football Association (DFB) with the representatives of the clubs in the 3rd division ended without any concrete decisions. At the conference it became clear "that the requirements and legal dispositions at the individual locations of the third division clubs differ significantly," said a message from the DFB on Tuesday. "The top priority continues to be the containment of the pandemic and the safeguarding of gaming operations."

On August 25 the next manager meeting will take place. The season in the 3rd division starts on September 18th .
No fans in German football stadiums until October 31
"The results of yesterday's health ministerial conference have shown that we are well advised to find joint and sustainable solutions on the basis of our hygiene concept for German football," said DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth . On Monday, at a joint meeting with Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) , the health ministers of the federal states ruled out a partial return of fans to the stadiums of the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga until October 31 . The number of corona infections in Germany had recently risen again.
