FC Penzberg lost the next test match. For trainer Martin Wagner there were also positive insights.
Penzberg - In the previous two test matches, national league team 1. FC Garmisch-Partenkirchen did not uproot any trees, as the results show: They lost 3-1 against Denklingen and 2-2 against Habach. Both teams play two classes lower than the Werdenfels in the district league. With FC Penzberg, the nominally most demanding opponent was presented. Martin Wagner's team, however, faced an opponent who was significantly better than the previous two games. The table runner-up of the District League South had to admit defeat 0: 2 (0: 1). After the 2: 3 against the league rivals Raisting this was already the second defeat in a row for the Penzbergers.
FC Penzberg unlucky: Sepp Siegert hits the post
It was a game that the senior team from Werdenfelser Land largely dominated despite the lack of some regulars, such as ex-Oberhausener Moritz Müller. The FCP had bad luck in the first half when Sepp Siegert hit the post after a blatant mistake by the opponent. Otherwise, however, the guests remained largely without any noteworthy offensive actions. In the opening goal of the home side by new signing Immanuel Sierck (36th), Maximilian Heringer was a player who, like Müller, has his roots in Oberhausen.
Returnees Andreas Schneeweiß makes fatal mistakes
Shortly after the break, Penzberg's returnees Andreas Schneeweiß made a stick mistake, which Garmisch used to make it 2-0 (55th). As a result, the Wagner team did not succeed in turning the game around. Rather, goalkeeper David Salcher prevented a higher deficit with two good saves. The second newcomer from Penzberg, the Croatian Mirko Ramcic, made a good debut. The 20-year-old kept pushing forward and hit long diagonal balls. It was replaced after about an hour.
