The new man on the sidelines at SSV Jahn Regensburg Futsal has big goals with the club. Thomas Dötsch wants to get promoted to the Bundesliga with his team.
Penzberg- Thomas Dötsch, in the 2018/19 season as well as in the first four games of the 2019/20 season coach of the soccer district division FC Penzberg, will be the new coach of the futsal team of SSV Jahn Regensburg. With the regional league team, Dötsch has the goal of advancing to the Futsal Bundesliga in the coming season. This would make Jahn a founding member of the newly launched top German league. "This is a huge opportunity for everyone involved," says Dötsch, who will remain a trainer in Oberalting despite his commitment in Regensburg. The first game in this year's final of the German Futsal Championship, which is currently taking place in Duisburg (we reported), the Regensburg team won 5-1 against TSG Bretzenheim yesterday, Thursday. Dötsch was already sitting on the bench. The outstanding man on the field was Dießen's player-coach Philipp Ropers. The German international scored the 1-0 for Jahn Regensburg with a nice goal. tao
