German tennis player Alexander Zverev has confirmed his participation in the US Open and the Cincinnati Masters Championship with a thousand points preceding it in New York.
And Sky Sports announced today that Zverev, the seventh-ranked player, announced his participation in the two American championships without being accompanied by his new Spanish coach, David Ferrer, to end doubts that revolved around his attendance or not.
So far, world number one Novak Djokovic and Swiss Dominic Tim have been confirmed in the US Open alongside Zverev.
