With Roglic's withdrawal, Groupama's Thibaut Benno will advance to first place before the start of the final stage, which will be held today.
Colombian Igan Bernal, 23, the French champion, withdrew from the race yesterday, while the French sports newspaper L'Equipe said he was suffering from back pain.
