Romanian Simona Halep won the Prague Tennis Championship after winning the final match against Belgian Elise Mertens.
Halep beat Mertens 6-2 7-5 in 1 hour 33 minutes.
The title is the twenty-first for Halep in her career, and she became the fifth most famous contemporary player, after the American sisters Serena and Venus Williams, the Belgian Kim Clijsters and the Czech Petrav Kvitova.
