After the two tests against the district league club SV Bruckmühl (0-0) and the runaway victory over the district classics FC Rottach-Egern (6-2), everything was demanded of TuS Holzkirchen for the first time in the neighborhood derby against FC Deisenhofen. "Deisenhofen already has a lot of quality in the team," said TuS coach Torsten Spittler for the Bayern league team. “It was actually a very good test.” In the end, the green-whites only lost 1: 2.
Coach Spittler was certainly not dissatisfied. “It was a good step in the right direction,” he says. "For the first time, we did very well in preparation." On the defensive in particular, the green-whites were much better than in the two most recent friendly matches. "We would have had the chance to make the result more positive," says Spittler.
In addition, the TuS kickers often lacked the final consequence in the conclusion. After all, the guests from the Bayernliga lived up to their role as favorites and were able to take the lead in the person of Michael Bachhuber, who scored twice. Bachhuber netted for the first time after about half an hour, before he ensured a reassuring 2-0 lead with his second prank in minute 61. The following goal by Holzkirchen's Christopher Korkor four minutes before the end was ultimately too late.
Nevertheless, coach Spittler was pleased with the emergence of the only goal of the day in Holzkirchen. “That was played out really well,” praised the TuS coach. A long ball from Holzkirchner was pushed through the right attacking side, Korkor ran towards the Deisenhofen goal and then pushed the leather into the goal to make it 1: 2. "At some point you noticed that we were only in the second week of preparation," sums up Spittler. Ultimately, especially in the final phase, the strength decreased. “But I'm quite happy with the game,” says Spittler. Certainly also with the late goal from Christopher Korkor.
