TSV Grafing had to do without 25 vacationers in the test match against TSV Steinhöring. Steinhörings Murat Sglar met for the leadership on his 41st birthday.
Steinhöring - If two big cliques with a good 25 men go on vacation at the same time, most men's teams would inevitably cease playing in the meantime. “In this respect, it is enviable when the Grafinger team send so many people on vacation and still be able to play,” noted Steinhöring's player-coach Murat Saglar. For the aftermath of the two reserve teams, the extraordinary depth of the squad of the Bärenstädter was no longer sufficient, but Grafing's trainer Alex Salem had enough staff on board for a “good training session”.
Defeat is completely insignificant
And those who stayed at home even benefited from the other players' holiday fever. "Otherwise the entire team is always replaced at halftime, now players have been given 90 minutes of playing time that were not previously in the first team," said Salem, referring to the majority of his squad in Steinhöring, which is why the 4-0 defeat for it was ultimately "completely irrelevant".
Of personal relevance, Murat Saglar did not want to completely acquit at least the lead he scored on his head (32nd). "The fact that Thomas Rotherbl occasionally hits my skull on free kicks is not that unusual and this time it was a good gift for my 41st birthday."
Steinhöring is now at "60 to 75 percent"
The other goals for the hosts scored Thomas Burger (37th), Maxi Mader (48th) and Kevin Dimov (87th).
In general, however, the current friendlies also serve Saglar as a review of the previous training content, “which the boys brought to the pitch well”, rather than as “preparation for an uncertain day X”. Steinhöring is now at "60 to 75 percent", with participation in training increasing again recently.
