An impressive acquisition for Hapoel Jerusalem, which announced this morning (Monday) the signing of small forward Malcolm Hill.
Hill (25, 1.98m), who can play in 2-3 positions, played last season in Kazakh Astana and won the title of Outstanding Player in the VTB League thanks to averages of 20.2 points (41% off the arc), 4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and an index 19.4.
The team's coach, Oded Katash, said after the signing: "Malcolm has been on our radar for a long time. We saw great performances of him last season on VTB against top European teams. He is an excellent shot from outside the arc and plays aggressively, and is very suitable for our method. I'm sure it will fit into the group cream we're building. '
Hill himself said: "I have heard a lot about Hapoel and the fans and I am happy to come to Israel. I am very happy for the opportunity I was given and I will do everything to make us a successful team. I'm already waiting to arrive and start training. '
